River Guides

With all of the nice weather here lately I was thinking about planning a spring break (Mar 12-22) boating trip. The only problem is I am not sure where we should go. I applied for a Salt permit but did not get it so now I am looking around. Since it seems that there is a variety of geographical locations represented here I though I would ask you all where we should boat. I live in Fort Collins, CO; but do not mind driving for a day or so to some good water. We are set up for either multi-days or single days on the river (Class III-IV, -V) and can camp in the car...where is the best place to go??

Jon, check out Oregon. Lots of good water in march and, if you're lucky, you might be able to catch the Illinois at a good flow.

Oregon Rafting has info about a few runs in Oregon and just across the North/South borders.
