The Whale Foundation & "There's This River"

A few months ago I read the book "There's This River", which is a collection of excellent river stories from the Grand Canyon. One of the stories was about Curtis "Whale" Hansen, a long-time guide on the Canyon. I had heard there was an organization set-up in his name, The Whale Foundation.

The Whale Foundation can be a very valuable tool for all of us. I'd encourage you to check it out, read about who Whale was, and if possible make a donation to this resource.
