Yeah, this is pretty informal so a loaf of bread with 2 slices missing is acceptable. It's worked out well. Hey, see you next week!

Good idea Beau... A lot of organizations won't take food donations if the stuff has already been opened. For instance, there are 20 jars of peanut butter in the fridge that can't be given away to these orgs because the lids have been popped. Mustard…

Just wanted to put an idea out there. Our guide house for the Rogue operation is in Selma, OR, and there is very little of a town here. Rural and generally poor. We don't have too many guides, so leftover food (loaves of bread, breakfast cereal, mus…

Rivers I've Run:
As a guide: Rogue, Middle and Main Salmon, Green (Labrynth Canyon), Upper Missouri, Kootenai (B.C.), Jefferson (MT), Clark Fork (Alberton Gorge); Privately I've recently run the Lower Owyhee, Blackfoot, Flathead (North Fork and Main), more?
About Me:
I'm studying to be a High School Biology teacher and getting my M.Ed. I've worked with at-risk students in the classroom and outdoors for a long time, but over the last year I've taken a break from teaching and found a job conducting ecological research to meet White Pine reforestation goals in the Swan valley of western Montana. I love boating on almost any water with almost any craft; lately the solo canoe has been a really engaging boat for me. I also love music, playing guitar, and fixing things.
What is the next river you would like to run?
Hopefully we'll squeeze in a Dearborn trip before guiding season. Like to run the Owyhee again soon.
My "River Philosophy" is:
commit to a line and stick it, but, um, be really flexible in case you have to change your plans. Try not to get real mad when things don't go your way.

Beau! What's up dude! I'm trying to put together a little private 3-day Rogue action with some buddies and was hoping you might want to float along with and show us your neck of the woods??? Give me a call.

I got the cooler foot in the mail today. Actually, it was delivered to Salmon and then sent over to me in Portland! I was laughing when I saw what it was. Thanks for sending it though!

You need to put a picture up, you look a little gray.
