Jon, check out Oregon. Lots of good water in march and, if you're lucky, you might be able to catch the Illinois at a good flow. Oregon Rafting has info about a few runs in Oregon and just across the North/South borders.

I am a student at CSU and guide on the Poudre in the summers. Last Jan my girlfriend and I went to Costa Rica with a shredder and paddled rivers down there. I will graduate in Dec 09' and want to work internationally.
