Bulldog,
Heard a rumor flows should be a managable 2000cfs but who knows for sure.
I would imagine the chance of snow on race day again would be pretty darn slim.
Working on a beer and food sponsor. Participants can expect something cheap or free ...
Hope the weather cooperates a bit better this year. Its really more like Klamath race 1.5. I think that the four paddler format should be pretty sweet, especially if we can manage a 2 gun flow. Is ORT bringin the beer this year? Hope to see everyo...
Tim...sounds good to me, me email is stones3@charter.net. I can post on facebook and a few other forums to drum up interest. Going over to Sotar on Monday, maybe I can print something out and hang on their wall. These are great events and promote the sport as well as the challenge of racing. We talked about forming a team down here, but just never went anywhere...maybe next year! Anyways, I will do what I can to help out at the UK & Cal salmon races, so let me know. My # 541-890-4054.
Been really dry here to, not much going on for water much anywhere. Also, the UK race still happening? Just have not heard much about it as of yet, but figured it will happen 2 weeks prior to Cal-Salmon races. Will probably just offer up help, so if you need any let me know. Talk to you soon.
hey Tim. You should add your latest seal launch from the Sandy under the video section. So it was 6 guys floating down the river on Valentine's Day? Sounds romantic.
The dudes from the Medford Mail Tribune have a grip of pics, we need to get a hold of them.
And yes back to back races would be a great idea, if there's anough water on the Scott...
Sounds like I'll be on the Salmon. Maybe not the Clack. Who'd pass up the Salmon right now? You guys looked pretty solid at the first annual Upper Klamath Race held on the Scott River. Pretty sweet weekend, man, I say it should be that way in the future. Maybe two race s on back to back days. You have any more pics from the Scott?
Oh yeah, I will forward any pics we get to you guys. Look for the Medford Mail Tribune article coming up on the race. Jamie shot over 400 pics and would probably send them all to you if you asked nice! He is an awesome photographer and up and coming star so they should be good.
Great job on the race up here last weekend. ORT is very skilled and disciplined, wouldn't expect much else from you! See you soon. And oh, I owe you $5 for the keg cup. Or I could just send you an IOU, thats as good as money!!!
Hey Tim,
Thank you for everything you've done for the raft racing community. I cannot express how much I respect and appreciate your efforts. Best of luck to you and your team. I'm rooting for you guys, especially against the 8 Ball (Get 'em).
I'm sure I'll see you again soon. I'm still around, just moving in different circles- I have nursing/nurse practitioner school, which is intense, to say the least.
Take care,
Nicole
